Hi well something just happened to me and im very confused, basically I was sitting on the sofa with my partner watching a film when out of nowhere I started to get a sensation like someone playing with me down there I was really freaked and my partner was incredibly confused.. it got to the point where I was at the breach of having an orgasm when boom baby kicked me really painfully down to my vagina and it all stopped instantly. So basically has anyone else had this? What is it and should I worry? Im currently 26 weeks pregnant.

Normal, happens occasionally don't worry.

Never happened to me either but I've heard some lucky cows get that as a pregnancy side effect.

... sadly not me. I just get punched in the foof.

Incidentally... What film were you watching?

(hopeful).

I used to have orgasms in my sleep when pg. Quite disconcerting Grin

Must be hormones, or baby pressing on a nerve, or something.

I'm 12+3, and have had a few orgasms in my sleep (I think Grin). It's ace. Makes up for the lack of clothes that fit, the all day nausea, the lack of appetite etc. Only happens in VERY inappropriate dreams as well of which I have had plenty

No lol BUT when I do my pelvic floor exercises I go all tingly like I'm having some sort of thrill. HOW embarrassing! Seriously, I can't to this day do pelvic floor exercises without it happening. I just don't get it, when the midwife says you can do them any place any time and I'm like Hmm

Apparently it's normal for some women, I plucked up the courage to ask a gyno what my mum had an appointment with one time. I thought it was me just going crazy or something was wrong. Between that and 'sad nipple syndrome' I honestly thought I was losing the plot. lmao

I've never had this but have heard of some women who experience orgasms during childbirth. Apparently they feel their contractions as orgasms!

RememberingMyPFEs · 02/07/2013 18:03

I've had a few in my sleep while pregnant but not when awake - now hoping for an orgasmic birth ;-)
