Is there anything you wouldn't buy second hand?

I plan on getting everything from clothes to bottles and steriliser (although I plan to bf I want to express so dh can look after dc for a while occasionally) to pram and cot second hand. Is there anything that you definitely wouldn't get second hand? Things I'm not so sue about are car seat and breast pump.

Car seat and mattress, breast pumps are fine as long as they aren't enclosed and you can take it apart to sterilise it.

only things I haven't bought second hand are teats for bottles and cot mattress.

Car Seat is fine as long as you are confident you know the history, ie not been in an accident and not been stored in an attic or cold garage for too long as the plastic can degrade. Otherwise everything else is fine IMO
