I am now 37 weeks and to be honest I have had enough of this. I know some people are overdue and others probably have it all alot worse but I really don't think I can go another 3-5 weeks.

Always tired and no one will let me do anything around the house. I feel so useless and that all I'm good for is makibg this baby. Im always swollen and puffy except when I see the midwife. Im always crying a good at everything and anything. I cant sleep at night and my baby clearly has a huge arse because I can never lay comfortably. Im absolutely terrified of becoming a mother abd of labour and keep having vivid dreams where I die in labour.

SORRY for the rant and self centered ness I don think dh really understand s and he tries to reassure but I don't think it works.

I bats**t crazy or does anyone else feel like this to?

I feel exactly the same.
Dont worry.

Im told its normal. Not had great pregnancy due to kidney problems but im going to beg the consultant to do something when I go on Monday as ive got horrible kidney pain amd baby is classed as full term so if it means hes ready and my body isn't (like 1st pregnancy)

I had DS 10 weeks ago and I felt exactly the same and had a good rant on this then and it really helped! I remember wishing to go early just to have it over and done with but at the same time being petrified of actually going into labour! A good rant is exactly what you need, your DH won't understand no matter how much he thinks he can!the daily uncomfortableness is enough to bring you down, but I promise it is all worth it and I know it's hard but if other people want to do stuff for you let them!!

Rant away.....can I join in?!! I am 34 weeks with DC2, moving continents in 2 days time, trying to pack up a house on my own in 35 degree heat with no air con, organising for my dog to be shipped across (tons of paperwork and money) and being constantly nagged by DH to stop overdoing it.....erm how?! Off he goes to work every day and I am left. Now the packers have even taken away my mugs and kettle and I have no car to drive to a place to buy a cuppa. We are in North America, the land of the car and I can't even walk/waddle to a shop as everything is too far away. DC1 is wandering around the house with nothing to do. His toys were all packed away before i could even blink! I too am terrified of labour and this second pregnancy has not been too kind on the old body. Roll on 6/8 weeks when I will be living back in the UK with the rain and my family :) Have a Brew

YANBU.

I'm 36+4 and I'm tired, uncomfortable, irritable and aching everywhere. This is my 4th and I've gone two weeks over in all previous pregnancies and its rubbish. At least this baby is going to be evicted in a couple of weeks due to health issues though so I have an end in sight.

My advice, milk it for all it's worth. Get people fetching cups of tea, rubbing your feet and sleep as and when you can.

Good luck.

The only thing thats made it easier for me is that ive gota few more nnights til im up with a baby.
Ds1 has health issues and I know hes got a bit more time to have me to just himself

I have no idea how you crazy people do this more than once and I haven't even had it that bad! Have a consultant appt Monday and going to beg for a slightly early sweep as MW can't until 41wks Sad
