This is the second time this pregnancy I've had it and I am not happy Angry I had it once With dc1 9 years ago then never again until this baby Angry

I've 6 1/2 weeks to go and can't wait to be free of illness and pains - one after the other since day dot :(

Used canestan cream an hour ago and it's just working now, nurse tomorrow for a pessary Blush bloody fed up. And itchy, swollen and sore :(

Just wanted to vent as dfiance has heard me moaning for hours ..

I sympahaise, had it pretty much the whole of this pregnancy. 34 weeks and cannot wait for baby ti come so it will clear!! My gp won't let me have pessaries so it's caneston cream only. find sleeping with no knickers airs the area and helps!!

Is it definitely thrush?
I thought I had thrush with DD1, turns out it was excoriation from the copious amounts of protein I was peeing. Good that you're seeing the mw tomorrow; she can check you no and wee then.

MissingMyMarbles · 27/06/2013 22:24

Check your no? That'll be bp! Stupid phone autocorrect!

SupermansBigRedPants · 27/06/2013 22:38

Thrush is evil! it's calmed right down now thankfully but I know by morning I'll be sore again :(

I'm a naked sleeper anyway but df is Hmm at getting a good view of my intimates just now splay legged on the bed! it was so bad earlier I considered getting the room fan and placing it at the bottom of the bed aiming at my bits Blush

Just nurse tomorrow but I'll see what she can do bp/wee wise i'm sure she diagnosed my last uti thanks dd2, really these ailments are just fecking great

definitely thrush, it's one of the only medical things I can spot from a mile away - my sister suffers terribly from it so I know the looooong list of symptoms to cherry pick from :(

I would insist on a pessary...I got one recently at 30 Weeks.

pinkr · 28/06/2013 20:40

Sorry op realised that wasn't you having the non prescribing gp.

SupermansBigRedPants · 28/06/2013 21:27

I'm happily pessaried today and feeling much better already :) last night was flaming torture I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy :(

Hopefully greenj1 's dr is either not Prescribing due to some unmentioned cause or s different dr/nurse might be in order - I couldn't do without :(
