I'm 32+5 and really suffering with rib pain. I'm feeling really whiney and sorry for myself knowing its just going to keep getting worse. Desperate for tips to relieve it if anyone has any?

I had it with both my DSs it was terrible. First I would get it checked out with the midwife probably not serious but there are a few rare things that I think can manifest themselves as rib pain. After that I found paracetamol helped as well as gentle streatching (sat on the floor arms up gentle stretch to the left then right). With DS1 I found swimming (well bobbing up and down in a pool) was fantastic but with DS2 didn't have the chance. Hope it gets better, best wishes.

Ouch, me too. 36 weeks with dc2 and has been painful in both pregnancies. I think it is easing a little now as baby is dropping.

I have found that deep freeze gel helps - apparently hot and cold sensations travel to your brain quicker than pain, so the cold gel does seem to disrupt the pain signal. Pharmacist said was fine to use so you might want to try it.
