Is it actually normal for a baby to move so much it feels like it could actually break through your skin?!

It is soooo uncomfortable? Is he o.k? He is wriggling ALOT

Yep. Mines doing it now, like watching something out of alien, feels like my skin will split any minute.....sigh, only a couple more weeks! Lol

Me too! The movements are so strong, especially right behind my belly button. It is fascinating and a little bit stomach churning at the same time.

I read something about movements feeling stronger because there is less amniotic fluid to cushion the movements now the baby is bigger. Don't know if this is true or not.

31 weeks here too and yes, seems to be normal! No idea what is going on in there, but she is more active than me thats for sure

Haha, I know the feeling! My husband is constantly quoting 'Alien' to me. I'm 34 weeks and have fewer sharp kicks but the squirming does actually feel like he's about to rip through the muscle. It's all good though, our babies ar going to be nice and strong!

I'm 34 weeks and having fun freaking out DH. I wait till baby is being particularly "alien like" and then pull up my top and tell DH to watch. He's fascinated and creeped out in equal measure!

I'm no longer allowed to sleep in spoons with DH cos belly monkey kicks him in the back so hard!

31 weeks here too and we're having great fun trying to work out what the sticking out bits are. Def had a foot suck out my side the other day. There have been times when its very uncomfortable and yes she is moving alot....particularly after I eat cake!!

36 weeks and had some serious movement going on too. DP was freaked out last night because at one point the baby stuck his bum up that high I though he was gonna make an appearance!

I'm glad this is all good n healthy!! I am convinced our little man is doing star jumps, He is definitely getting some excersise in there! His Dad is pleased he's a night owl and not a morning person like me!!

Oh god... I've been complaining about how insanely violent my belly monkey is (love that MOTU) for the last three weeks and I'm only 26 weeks - I dread to think what my baby is going to be doing to me by the time I get to the stage you're all at!!!
