Polyhydramnios - advice on labour questions for consultant

Hello. I'm hoping that some of you might have been through this before or perhaps there are some medical professionals out there that can give me some advice. At my 28 week scan (I have extra) the sonographer found that I high levels of amniotic fluid (26.1). My consultant explained a bit about what it could mean and since then I have been tested for GD and that was negative. Of course I've been googling and scared myself witless (I wouldn't recommend doing this!) and I've learned a lot, not all of it helpful! I have another scan and consultant appointment next week (32 weeks) and I'd like to take with me a list of questions on what the implications are for the birth. I've read about the risk of cord prolapse and my midwife also mentioned it. I'm still not clear on what this all means for the birth and what I should be asking the consultant about it all. Any similar experiences and lessons learned would be appreciated - even if they are difficult stories. It can't be worse than googling! Many thanks.
