Anyone else worrying about their toddlers during labour?

My DD is 22 months old and it's two weeks until my due date. The longest I've ever been away from her is 4 hours. She is going to stay with her great grandparents (DPs side) while I'm in labour/giving birth. She has a great relationship with them but they are in their 70s. There is literally no one else to have her. I've suggested to DP that he stay home but he doesn't want to miss the birth which is understandable. I know I'm being stupid but I can't help it. Anyone else?

Hi, yes I am, but for different reasons! I'm 30 weeks and my DS is 16 months - my issue is that we have no family in the area, so I'm panicking about who will look after DS as all of our friends work full time. The night time worries me too. In fact, the whole thing is gimaking me panic Grin

Flowers to cheer you up - you're not being stupid at all, it's completely natural to be concerned about your DD, but she'll probably see it as a great adventure and have a wonderful time being doted on by her great grandparents

Yes I am I thought I had it all sorted as my mum who normally drives was going to have him (she is the only person we know with a car) now she is in hospital very Ill and we have been told she won't walk again, so that plan pretty much is out the window Hmm.

The rest of our family members live about 45 minutes walk from us my partner will be at work and will have to meet me at the hospital. The only other plan is getting someone to come and stay at outs about a week before baby is due. Hmm
