No appetite, not hungry at all...

Over the last week I've lost all my appetite & am not hungry at all, today all I've had is 4 biscuits, a cookie & forced down a chicken Kiev & homemade chips. I just don't feel hungry & when I try to force myself to eat, nothing appeals to me & I feel sick. I'm still drinking plenty but just worrying that at 36 weeks I may be harming myself or my baby by not getting enough food.

I could have wrote this myself! I am in the same boat. I'm 35 + 5 and my appetite has gone down the drain. I just don't feel hungry.
I eat because I know I have to, like today I had two pieces of toast this morning and then attempted to eat some pasta at lunch, but had two mouthfulls and binned the rest because I just didn't fancy it. At dinner I had some chips and gravy. But that was it. I've been drinking plenty too, mostly milkshakes.

I feel like I should be eating mountains of food, but I haven't and I feel guilty. I'm seeing my midwife on Monday so i'm going to ask her then. I'm guessing either I have a deficiency of something, or there's just not enough room in there for me to eat enormous amounts!

I wouldn't worry, I definitely 'ran out of room' to stomach much food. Keep drinking lots and try and make the little you eat as nutritious as possible. Aim for little bits more often.

This is me too! Normally I could be described as 'a good eater' but lately I'm feeling uninterested in food and fuller alot sooner than usual. Like leaving food on the plate (much to the dismay of my loved ones).
I'm 25 weeks but not complaining. My McDonalds fantasies were getting far to vivid.

Same here I'm living off toast and that's about it oh and crumpets :)

I'm 38+5 & have been feeling like this for a few weeks!! To be honest it was a relief after all the lollies, biscuits & donuts I'd been scoffing since the early days Grin
I'm eating smaller portions but often & trying to drink plenty fluids. With the fat I've accumulated I doubt baby will starve .... Hmm

So glad I'm not alone, I don't feel as guilty! Made chocolate brownies tonight hoping I would at least be able to try some, oh no, didn't fancy them at all! Sad
