Sharp pain in a abdomen

Ok the title of this probably makes it sound worse than it is but I've been getting a sharp stabbing pain in my abdomen (left hand side) for a couple of days. It comes and goes but generally is literally is second of pain every few minutes for maybe an hour or so, goes away then comes back a few hours later. Have absolutely no other symptoms that might cause concern such as spotting and nothing makes it worse so I'm fairly sure it's just a normal pregnancy symptom but can some of you reassure me?

How PG are you? Have you been scanned yet? It could just be round ligament pain, it's caused by the muscles and things stretching to accommodate the baby. Your colon also goes down the left side are you constipated? It could be lots of things, something or nothing.

10+5, had a scan last week and everything was fine. Not constipated but not as regular as usual either! I'm sure I've had a similar pain before I was pregnant but now I'm pregnant I'm paying attention to it all of a sudden!
