I feel pregnant

I am only two and a half weeks past my last bleed but at the time of it I was certain it was implantation bleed. I never had implantation bleed with DD so no idea how it differs to a period but it just felt different.

Since the time of my last bleed I have fely nauseated, tired, stinging nipples, and the last week, a sort of swollen feeling in the area behind my pubic bone. The last few nights when laying on one side I have felt pressure in that area and have had to put a pillow between my legs (pain not in vagina etc, more uterus).

Am.at work, but sat here with this overriding feeling of being pregnant.

Does anyone think it is worth taking a test that says how far along? Just with the confusion over my last bleed - I felt pg before it, and am still at least four days early for my next bleed. Too earpy in theory to get a bfp, but this isnt even a faint line - it appeared almost instantatiously and is substantial.

depends how much you want to know the date.... FWIW it will only say 1-2 wks or 3+ weeks, not much more accurate.

I would wait for a scan.......

but do remember feeling as you do, and must have POAS about 10 times when I got my BFP this time - I just couldn't believe it!

Congratulations!! I used the ones that tell you how far along you are, it said 3+ but that was really helpful to me because the baby was unplanned and I had absolutely no idea how far along I was, so I knew I was at least five weeks gone. Good luck!

Think I will just work off the last bleed then. Do I just ring for a nidwife booking in apt in a couple of weeks? If I remember right, the doc doesnt even confirm anything.

Congratulations Grin
Yes, give your GP a call to book an appointment with a midwife.

Futterby · 29/06/2013 18:08

I saw my gp first who just handed me over to the mw without doing anything, so that's probably best :)

MortifiedAdams · 29/06/2013 18:48

Ahh grand, Ill do that. Ill leave it a week or two tho as I know last time I didnt get the appt til about 8wks.

You could always book your appointment for a couple of weeks to a sure you get one when you want it?

Congratulations I knew before bfp and even had bfn first too I am now 23 weeks x

blondebaby111 · 30/06/2013 11:05

Congratulations, you sounded just like me. The first time I got my bfp it came up negative yet an hour later there was a line. I didn't believe it either and spent a whole weekend testing just to see the line. I'm now 12 weeks. Exciting time!! Get a clearblue digital which will tell u how far, I loved seeing the 'pregnant' symbol come up, it seemed more real than just a line xx
