Shooting pains . . .

I'm 18 weeks today. Whilst walking dog this morning I had a 'stitch' like feeling but quite low and just put it down to the fact that the dog was pulling me along at a fast pace.

During the day I've had quite a few sharp shooting pains across my lower tummy. Has anyone else had similar?

Not really got any advice for you as I've only really had either period-pain like cramps or severe cant move doubled up pains.

This will bump it to front page for you though, so maybe someone else will be sble to advise.

Hope you feel better soon x

I had these exact pains at around 20 weeks; would normally happen after I had been at work all day and was walking home briskly.
Felt like a sharp stitch but lower down than normal and only eased if I stopped walking and pushed down on the area with my fingers.
I told my midwife around the time and she said it could be caused by overdoing it or being dehydrated, which made sense as it was normally after I had been on my feet all day!
I'm 36+1 now with a very active little baba so try not to worry!
Maybe phone your midwife for some reassurance though? With no other symptoms I'm sure it's just normal annoying pregnancy symptoms though!

I am 17 weeks and have the same thing, when my period would be due. Aldo when I have overdone it.

I had pains along bikini line but little higher up so lower abdomen. Usually walking or ar times when standing from sitting.

Although would advise checking with your midwife.

Hi,
I'm 21 weeks and I get these if I am walking too fast (I think it's my pregnant body trying to remind me to slow down Grin)

It really makes you stop, doesn't it?! I had exactly the same with DD1

I have had these throughout this pregnancy. I spoke to my mw about it and she said it was the ligaments stretching. However, it is worth mentioning to yours just so that they are aware.
