Hi all, just seeing of anyone else is about?! I'm so fed up of feeling sleepy going to bed and being wide awake for hours! Doesn't help that I'm peeing every 30 mins :( sorry just a little moan. I cannot wait for pregnancy to be over!

can't sleep either. got a really early start too. I'm stressing after my scan today. no reason just found out I'm 5 not 6 weeks and no heartbeat yet. normal but a heartbeat would have been reassuring. also I have just eaten a really excessive amount of raisins and I'm mildly concerned, not sure why.

5 weeks is very early, they don't often see a heartbeat at that stage. Why have you had an early scan? X

Me neither. I'm 11 weeks with first scan tomorrow which I'm nervous about... but it's more because I'm so bloated and uncomfortable. Have a "bump" tonight but it'll deflate by tomorrow.

greenj1 · 25/06/2013 00:35

Good luck with your scan :) nearly 34 weeks here,my bump is bloomin enormous!!! So hard to get comfy lol

Thanks! Not long to go for you! I slept badly in my last pregnancy too, always laughed when people said to get your sleep in before the baby arrives because I couldn't believe I would actually get less sleep (sadly I was wrong, dd is an awful sleeper).

happydazed · 25/06/2013 00:41

they scanned to confirm dates so I can go on a trial of progesterone, had previous mc. I thought I was 6 weeks going on last period must have conceived very late in the month. it is very early for a scan, bit pointless too, nothing to see! had a horrible few seconds when she said there wasn't a heartbeat though.
I am wide awake but tomorrow morning will be a different story. someone once told me some people are on longer than 24 hour days so they would stay up later and sleep longer and just go right round the clock if left to their own devices. I think I am one of them!

Can't sleep either. Knackered though and by some small miracle the toddler is asleep so I should be making the most of it.

23 weeks pregnant and ground down by work as well :(

greenj1 · 25/06/2013 00:46

Eighteen weeks and wide awake, despite falling asleep many times when I got home from work. I think maternity leave should start when you get the blue or pink lines on the wee stick!

greenj1 · 25/06/2013 00:54

Lol!! I'm exhausted all day but as soon as I lay down, wide awake. Just had horrendous leg cramp as well :(

I'm 17+5 and the exact same! I am awake until 4am most nights now and it makes it almost impossible to do things during the day when I'm soooo tired Sad. Also cannot sleep through properly once I do nod off because I always wake up at least once to pee! Ah the joys ay Grin

FoofFighter · 25/06/2013 13:57

I sleep like crap at the best of times, very very light sleeper and takes me an age to drop off, pregnancy hormones just seem to ramp it up x100. In early pregnancy I felt wired, had a brief lull in 2nd tri until the baby decided it didn't like me lying down at all and would have party, now at 33w I seem to be back to the wired feeling. last two nights I managed 4hrs of sleep interrupted of course by a couple of pee runs :( so tired.

bingeddybongo · 25/06/2013 15:03

I'm 26 weeks and go off fine at night but wake up somewhere between 2.30am and 4am every bloody morning. I can deal with being awake for an hour or so and then falling back to sleep even if I feel like shit the next day, but what I am really not getting on with is waking up at 4am and then staying awake full stop and having to go to work. Grrr :(

I've been doing that for the last few months. Waking at 5ish and not being able to get back to sleep. I thought it was a day light thing but we've installed a black out curtain and it's still happening.
