...been having pains on and off for two weeks. Some are quite painful, had pains every 5-6 mins last night for about 2 hours then they stopped. Just want them to turn into the real thing!

I'm 38 +5 today and getting induced on Thursday as I have gestational diabetes, I want him to arrive before then!

I know there is not much I can do, just having a moan :(

No advice I'm afraid as nothing sodding worked when I tried it, so just some sympathy. It sucks, but it will be over soon. You have a few days before induction too, so it might all kick off before that! I will be keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Thanks Mrs Mango :) going to try and not get my hopes up today!

Hopefully the pains are doing something, I'm booked in for a sweep tomorrow afternoon so will find out,

Thanks for the hot chocolate too, can't wait till I can have a real one!

I've read that different teas can help bring on labour. Red raspberry apparently. Not sure if that actually works or if it only works for some, or even if you've already tried it but just thought I'd mention incase Smile.

Apparently you can get it at holland and Barrett but the one at tesco is a stronger dosage.

Good luck, I hope you get the natural start you'd like but if not just think it's really not long until you meet your baby now either way Smile Thanks Xx
