Help! Indigestion cures please!

Hi, I'm 17 weeks, had sickness till 15 weeks, which has been replaced with indigestion! I didnt get it till much later with my first pregnancy. I've got that lumpy feeling at the top of my throat like somethings stuck... its there all the time and its driving me nuts. I'm burping all the time too.... have done for weeks... tried gaviscon, thats not doing anything really. Any suggestions?

Do you mean heartburn type indigestion? If you do, my OB said go ahead and take over the counter Zantac. I do, and it helps me at night - otherwise I'd get no sleep. Probably should check with your own gp/ob first though - they all differ on whats ok and what isn't.

don't think its heartburn... no burning sensation, but have never had heartburn to my knowledge so dont know what it feels like. I just have this lumpy feeling at the back/top of my throat all the time...

That can be reflux, apparently. But worth asking a gp - sounds horrid!
