When should DH be able to feel kicks?

I'm 23+1 and have imposed a "hands off the bump" rule, until DH has felt our DD kicking away. I can feel her no problem on the inside, but when is he supposed to be able to feel her?

Sometimes he holds bump and she settles down and stops moving, and sometimes she goes crazy when he's near, but stops when he holds me. Why???

Because bumps are really annoying like that. I had the same thing and don't think dh felt anything until 28 weeks

My dh felt ours kick for the first time at 18 weeks... But.... From about 20 weeks whenever the little one has started kicking violently (can actually see the movement on the outside) and I've called dh over, baby promptly stops!! He hasn't had chance to feel it for a few weeks now as this happens every time. Likewise I've tried to film my stomach jumping around for him and as soon as I pick up the camera baby stops!! I'm certain thy have a sixth sense about these things and find it funny to wind us up! I'm sure your dh will catch a kick soon.

Same here! :) DH only managed to catch a few kicks so far. I like to think she is entirely happy and calm when we both hold the bump)))
(Only a pregnant woman's brain can come up with such rubbish!!))

Am 24 +4 and my DH cannot feel a thing! He's getting a bit fed up of me calling him over to feel!

My DH felt at 17 weeks but not every time. I love when he can but baby seems to stop when he touches my belly think she just likes winding daddy up lol x

my bump does this! the other night in bed having a cuddle with dh and bump was against him and after a few mins bump kicked a bit and my dh felt it, was cool. worth a try. also when I take a deep breath bump kicks, like he is responding to the oxygen boost lol.

I'm 30+3 and DP has only felt him move twice on one occasion it's soo frustrating. Kicks are big enough now and often move bump but as soon as he touches it's a stalemate but I'm glad he's felt him the once at least
