Weird marks on my hands?

Today I've noticed that I've got some weird, really light brown marks on the back of both of my hands and wrists. Almost like clusters of freckles, but lighter. Is this a pregnancy thing or should I see my GP?

That's weird, I would go see the doc! Are they itchy, sore, etc?

I've read that your melanin (I think that's the word) production is increased in pregnancy making you prone to darkened patches of skin so it might be that. If its not it by it sore I wouldn't worry.

Yeah, all my moles got darker and I had some skin tags that appeared and then (thankfully) disappeared within weeks of giving birth!

Not itchy or sore or anything, just feels like normal skin. I have a freckle that's become darker but other than that I've not had any other pigment changes (I'm unbelievably pale, foundation colour 001 ) so I'm not sure about it being a melanin thing. But thanks for the replies :)
