I am currently 30+3 and just keep getting a feeling the baby is going to come early. With dd now 2 I knew the birth wouldn't be straight forward and it wasn't. Now I keep thinking dc2 may make an early appearance....should i ignore it? am i being silly? were your gut instincts right? Maybe I am just hot and bothered and ready for mat leave!?!

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Thought i'd be early with DS as he was massive and I had constant braxton hicks in the last month.

He was a week late.

Sorry Grin

(Bet if I'd expected him late he'd have made an early appearance and all)!

Have been convinced that DS would be early. As I am typing this I am 40+3 and not even a niggle so clearly I need to put away the crystal ball!!

NotSoNervous · 20/06/2013 17:11

I thought my Dd would be early and she was

NotSoNervous · 20/06/2013 17:12

But then again I did think I was having a boy too lol

CityDweller · 20/06/2013 21:33

Thought my baby would a) be on time (because DH and I are really punctual people Hmm) and b) was convinced it was a boy. She is a girl and was two weeks late. So no!

TheCatIsUpTheDuff · 21/06/2013 11:20

Don't know about arrival time, I'm 22+6 with DC1, but I was so sure it was a boy that I thought the sonographer had got the wrong baby when she told me otherwise! My instincts need retuning.

TheHuffAndPuffALot · 21/06/2013 11:26

I was sure as sure could be that I'd be having a boy and he would be late. As it was, dd arrived a day early!
