Is this carpal tunnel?

I'm 38 weeks pg. Had carpal tunnel last time round - numb, frozen-feeling hands, off and on.

This time it's not just numb (so I can't feel things, pick things up etc) it's actually really painful aching the whole way up my arm. The joints in my elbow and shoulder are particularly painful. Left arm only. Mainly at night but also randomly during day.

Does this sound like carpal tunnel, or something different?

it's the best. I love it when I'm tired and just want to sleep and then my arm decides it us the perfect time to start aching. paracetamol is bloody useless

And the freakish numbness? Unnatural block-of-woodness of hand? I feel like I should be in a circus. Giant bump. Feet like vast sausages, fingers ditto. Trout pout like surgery gone very very badly wrong indeed. Roll up, roll up...

Yep I get it too feels like my veins are going to explode with the pressure, I also have varicose veins in my legs and vulva.. not a nice combination lol
