36 weeks - bowel movements

Sorry if TMI but my whole pregnancy i have been a constipated mess. However, the last two days i have been on toilet with bowel movements. Not diahera,just normal but frequent. Its only midday and this is the third time already. Is this normal?

Could be a dodgy tummy or pressure from the baby? But if in doubt call your midwife. Are you feeling any pain.

I didn't really get any constipation, except maybe during the 1st trimester. I'm now 38 weeks and in the last few weeks I've been "going to the loo" up to 3 or 4 times a day! Mentioned to the mw but she didn't seem concerned at all

Towards the end of pregnancy you quite often have a, ummm, clear out so you're not still bunged due to constipation!

I'm 40 weeks today and for the last 2-3 weeks I've noticed an increase from a couple of times a week to 2-4 times per day! It's bizarre, but standard, apparently.

I reckon I must have shed some weight this week because of it, ha ha!

Me too. 37+5 here and 2-3 times a day. I'm sure I'm not eating that much food.

Me too. Horrendous constipation with piles up until this week and its like normal service has been resumed. 32 weeks and hoping it means an early labour!
