sweep at 38+2?

Hi

i have a midwives appointment at 2pm

ive got SPD and an 18 month old son ... NOT a good combination! im fed up and cant walk or sleep!

what do you think my chances of getting a sweep today is?

how should i go about asking?!

I know in my area they won't do a sweep until you are over 40 weeks . You can only ask though , they can only say no!!

you would only get a sweep if your cervix was 'favourable'. I think this means it would have had to have started thinning out already and you would have to be a little dilated to allow the sweep to take place. You can only ask - the worst they can do is say no.
