Will need more info to help so calm ddown make yourself a cool drink, sit still then start from the beginning.

So you've had blood taken by the MW, and dr has called you about the results? Chances are you're just anaemic

If there is anything else wrong, you can't do anything about it until tomorrow, so stressing about it isn't going to help

It could be that you're low in iron and simply need a prescription. I would try not to worry. If it was anything worth panicking about they'd have sent you into your local maternity unit/antenatal ward so it's very likely to be something minor that you just need a prescription for.

Are these your first bloods? It may be that you are rhesus negative which would mean they would need to give you an injection. Nothing to worry about there either though. Try and stay calm, do something to take your mind off it. It'll be ok.

If there was any emergency to the situation at all then they would have urged you to go immediately to the hospital.

The receptionist might have just been doing her routine calls to all patients who need to pop back for a chat.

I had similar. The hospital couldn't reach me, so they called DH who didn't ask them any questions and just said I'd call them back. This was last thing on a Friday.

It was to do with my blood type. Am rehus (sp) negative which just means a couple of extra injections mainly.

Try to stay calm. Tomorrow am will come around. It is probably nothing to worry about.

Thinking of you.
