Almost 34 weeks and baby feels like she's going to fall out of my lady bits!

Hii

I'm 33 weeks and 5 days with our 2nd lg.
When i saw my midwife last i was 31 weeks and she was head down.
Since about monday ive lost 2 little bits..of what i think..is my plug, it looks (sorry!) abit like snot.
Anyway, i woke up this morning and my bump seems to of shrunk and my lady bits feel like ive been kicked in them, they feel bruised and there's alot of pressure. joys of pregnancy

I'm seeing the midwife on friday but just wondering if this sounds like her moving down? maybe head engaging?
I didn't have anything with my first..she engaged when i was in labour and i lost my plug with my waters when i was in full blown labour so its all new to me :) x

I am earlier on than you so not much use but didn't want to read and run. Any news? Hope all is well.

Hi, I don't have any experience of losing my plug before getting contractions but with my DD, my bump definitely shrunk in size in the couple of days before labour started. My birthday was 4 days before DD was born and I can remember putting on my one and only nice maternity skirt and having to re-adjust the elastic on it because it was too big all of a sudden. Give your MW a call if you are worried about anything. Good luck xx
