15 weeks - what to wear to a wedding?

I'm going to a relaxed country wedding and have just realised that I don't have anything to wear. I'm not really showing but my waist has completely disappeared and although I've not put any weight on, I feel bigger/bloated. I don't want to spend a fortune on a dress that I'm only going to wear a couple of times maximum. Can anyone recommend a cheapish (less than £50) dress that would work? I can't bear anything tight across my tummy so needs to be relatively loose fitting. I'm guessing its too early to buy a proper maternity dress as there isn't a bump to fill it so it'll look ridiculous. Thanks xx

What about a nice maxi dress? Asos have some lovely ones at the moment and they all seem to have elasticated waists, so really comfy!

Cos are good for this kind of thing. They are a bit more expensive than £50 but if they have a sale on you could be lucky. Their style is very loose and drapey but still quite stylish. I had a dress I bought pre-pregnancy that I wore to a wedding at 7 months. So if you buy in your pre-pg size it would probably still fit afterwards as well

Select have really good summer dresses that fit ok - I'm 22+6 and still wearing mine, and I'm a size 18!! This is my favourite I wear it all the time:

You need an empire line which is basically well fitted just at the bust and then loose and flowy

Perhaps something like one of these

If you don't want it tight on your tummy avoid ones like this:

Hope this helps! Smile

As GinotPrigio suggests, the maxi dress is your friend!

I bought a lovely non-maternity one from the Next clearance outlet a few weeks ago in a size up from what I?d normally get ? it fits beautifully and I am 35 weeks with a massive big bump!

Look for an empire cut with a silky lining so that you feel dressed up but comfortable. You needn?t spend a fortune, it won?t look strange if you have no discernable bump (which you probably won?t have at 15 weeks), and best of all you?ll be able to wear it after you?ve given birth.

Oooh I found a gorgeous maternity dress on eBay that doesn't look maternity and wanted to buy it, but I don't have any weddings this year! If you search vintage maternity dress on eBay there is a gorgeous dusky pink one, think its from asos and is only about £15. Thinking about it, I might buy one anyway...!

excited - I went to look on eBay at that dress, which is lovely by the way, and am now £100 lighter.

Sad and Smile all at the same time lol

Haha ooops sorry! Enjoy the wedding!

I went to a wedding a few weeks ago, at 15 weeks pregnant, and opted for a maxi dress. It was a dress I already had and had only worn it a few times, I went out and treated myself to some lovely accessories, got my hair done etc

It was really comfortable too as it was a hot day and we were there all day and night

I think maxi dress is a great idea or buy a maternity wrap dress, so you can continue wearing it. Isabella Oliver are sometimes on secretsales.com and otherwise sometimes have vouchers, so you might get one of theirs for near enough £50.

Enjoy the wedding! Smile
