True or false - first baby early, second also early?

Continuing the true or false theme of another thread.

My DS came at 38 weeks and i'm now pregnant with DC2 - just wondering if they are likely to be early too. I am (rather daftly) planning a weekend in France at 36 weeks for a friends wedding so I wouldn't mind having to wait a teensy bit longer than with DS.

DS came at 38+3.

DD came at 40+4. Those last two weeks felt very long...

No 1 was 38+5 and I'm 38 weeks today with DC2...

Really hoping I don't have 3 weeks+ left!

well, I don't know if that's a recognised thing but yes, for me it was true. got to 39 wks with dc1 and got to 37+3 with dc2.

DS (6) was born at 39 + 4, DD (5 months) was born at 38 + 4 so in my case it was true. The large feet/ easy(ish) labour was also true for me.

I've just read your op properly and my post wont be what you want to read! sorry. :-/ would delete it now if I could. they have hospitals in France.

37 with DD, 4 hour labour.
39+6 with DS, 8 hour labour.

The large feet/easy labour thing on the other thread was not true for me.

False. DS1 & DS2 both on due date.

Can't say the same about the DDs who were 10 & 14 days over. Took the smug smile off my face, I can tell you.

DD1 37+3, DD2 40+5.
