True or false? First babies are normally late?

Is this true or false? Usually first babies are due late? And are boys usually lazier than girls for lateness?

Girl 37 weeks.

Boy 39+6

4 weeks early

False - DD born bang on 36 weeks at 6 lb 15 oz!

False all mine were late and ive 4

My DS arrived at 37+2 - totally unprepared as I fully expected to go overdue as he was my first!

i was told that on average first babies are born 5 days past due date.
(foolishly planned on dd being late. was totally unprepared when she arrived 2 weeks early)

DD - born at 36 weeks
DS - born at 34+4

Dd1 was born on due date. Dd2 was 5 days late according to official due date, but bang on time according to my date (based on my longer cycle which mw ignored).

I was the first baby and I was born at 32.5 weeks
But I'm not thinking about that because I'm 30 weeks now and don't want him here quite yet! X

1st and 2nd in my, admittedly, limited experience. Both of mine were induced.

Oh and both were girls.

Ds1 was evicted at 42 +5

Ds1 was induced nearly 2wk over
Ds2 went into labour on my due date but born 5 over

DD (pfb) was born at 37 weeks

DS2 at 39 + 4 (those last couple of weeks felt like an eternity and I felt like a beached whale, which is no good with 2 preschoolers - going overdue must be even worse!)

False. My dd was early. Only by 4 days but still early.

My DS was born at 39wks and 10lbs 5oz... Thank heavens he wasn't late!

My DD was born 5 days after EDD and weighed 5lbs13oz

My first was a boy, I awoke from a deep sleep to find my waters had broken at just after midnight when I was 37 weeks plus a few minutes.

He was born about 6 hours later.

My DD was born on her due date

My DS was 3 days early.

Dd was 10 days Overdue and the laziest baby ever. She never kicked. She squirmed a lot but never ever kicked inside. The sonographer was worried because she was so still at the 20 wk scan.

DS was a kicker. Used both feet to give me shocking kicks from very early on. He was born a few hours after his due date. He was very eager to come out.

DD1 - arrived promptly at 8.30am on due date.
DS1 - 2 weeks early
DD2 - 3 weeks early
DS2 - 2 weeks early
DS3 - 3 days overdue and I insisted on being induced - big baby, SPD, reduced foetal movement, and (IMO) overdue for me.

DC1 is a boy and was born at 34+5.
