Is this the baby engaging?

I'm 36 and 3

On Saturday I woke up with a feeling of pressure on my vagina. It's got progressively more intense since then... I can only walk in little steps. It's not exactly painful just very tender down there. The nearest thing I can think to describe it is a bit bruised like after you've had a lot of sex

It's also quite tender at the bottom of my bump.

Isn't my last appointment last Tuesday midwife wrote in my notes that I was 4/5s palp which I believe means a fifth engaged. Is it possible to become fully engaged this quickly?

I'm not concerned. He's moving lots I'm just curious as to whether he's fully engaged.

Also think I'm having lots of Braxton hicks. When I walk my bump goes tight and I'm getting cramps.

yep, that's it! I've been waddling like this for weeks because baby's head is pressing on the bones down there, it can get quite uncomfortable. I'm 39+3 and the pressure is getting heavier but it's the same sort of feeling. Thankfully no BH, but sounds all normal to me
