What does SPD feel like?

Am 17 weeks with dc2. I have a niggling muscular type pain in my groin. Worse today after pushing ds1 up pretty steep hill in pram. Quite sore, but better if I lie on side so weight of bump is off my pelvis. Could this be early SPD or something else? Getting worried that if I'm sore now, what will I be like by the end. DS1 is a handful and a half so taking it easy is quite hard unless I'm at my desk at work!!

Mine feels like searing, sharp pain in my pubic bone and shooting pains up my back and down my legs, as if I've trapped a nerve. You can take paracetamol for pain without worrying that it will affect the baby and there are exercises you can do, which you might find online. Keep your weight balanced on both feet when standing, keep your knees together when you stand up. Tense your bum and keep your knees together when rolling over in bed and sleep on your side with a pillow between your legs. Some of this stuff might help.
