Hi, im 34weeks and today I bought some raspberry leaf capsules to start taking in the hopes that my labour will be brought on without induction and will progress enough for me not to need forceps( very bad first labour when I was induced 2years ago) now i know RL cant induce labour and its only suppose to help with the 2nd stage progress, so taking the recommended 6 400mg tablets per day should be okay at this stage right?

I got advised only from 36 weeks, Iv been taking the 6 tablets a day (when I remember too) for a week now.

I was advised tea from 32 weeks, capsules from 36 weeks as they are stronger. I have every faith in them, managed back to back labour in 8 hours to get from no hint of anything to pushing :)

Ah maybe I should try the tea for a few weeks then? I have the MW tomorrow so will double check with her before i start them anyways :)

I loved the tea when pregnant with dd. Drank loads of it. Might be a coincidence but from established labour to birth was about 4hrs and I literally pushed her out in one contraction. My dh was busy snarfing a sandwich in the toilets and nearly missed it (in his defense i'd had an epidural by this stage and he was starving).
