Just found out so scared!

Ok so was convinced I would only ever have one child and today I've found out I'm pregnant with no2 I have 20 month old DS and have no idea how I will cope he's such a hand full, add sleepless nights to that and I'm worried I will break down. My dp is supportive but works full time so don't want to be putting any pressure on him...will I cope?! How have other people found a 2 1/2 yr age gap??

You will cope.

You will take each day as it comes, and you will have a crazy first year, but your DC won't be tiny for every.

I'm in exactly your position ileypie, with a 22month old and 3 months pregnant, with no2. I too was convinced that we were only going to have 1, as we have a very demanding, spirited DD and both work full time!! I've no idea how we are going to manage with 2, no matter what the age gap (haha!!) I know people cope, and I guess we will too, but like you I feel a bit scared and I've had 8 weeks to get used to it!

My DS is 2years and 8 months, he is so much more independant than he was at 2 - he can (sometimes) do as he is told and will at least sit like a zombie in fron of the tv if I need him to. I'm 14 weeks pg and feel like it will be much easier with a slightly bigger age gap.

Amylou that's exactly what we thought that we wouldn't cope with another ever haha! As the day goes on I'm starting to feel more positive.

Thank you for your responses just hope that I do cope I'm already struggling and I've just started a new job so bad timing dreading telling them going to wait till my 12 week scan!
