Spd/Pgp and sex

Sorry if this is tmi.

After weeks of my libido having disappeared completely, I'm now 23 weeks and it has returned! However me and DH dtd a couple of times yesterday and it has made my pgp 100x worse. :( After one of the times my hip actually got stuck and I had to throw him off me so I could try and sort it out. Blush

For the rest of the day I was becoming more and more uncomfortable and overnight I was waking every half an hour or so in a lot of pain.

I don't want to waste this precious baby free time if my libido remains willing, so could really do with some advice to enjoy sex and not end up crippled with the pain.

Any help/tips would be much appreciated!

Have you tried it from behind on all fours, so you can keep your hips together. Even have a big cushion or rolled up duvet under your bump to feel more supported

Really not meaning to brag but DH is very well endowed, would from behind still be ok? I have avoided that position since being pg because previously he's hit my cervix quite a few times and I was worried it might do damage?

I have awful SPD - on crutches Sad best position is laying on your side (pillow under bump/between knees) spooning from behind Grin

Thank you! Sorry to hear yours is so bad :( I've just finished walking round aldi's and I could actually cry it hurts so much.

Not that I have any interest in dtd at all but when I did the most comfortable way was spoons with cushion between legs. All fours works as long as your dh takes his own weight and doesn't bend over your hips.

Anything with legs apart is out and you will suffer afterwards

Longfufu · 16/06/2013 17:11

So how big is "really well endowed"? Grin

Disclaimer: I'm only asking what everyone else is thinking.

I'm glad someone asked this - I've found all fours the most comfy but haven't tried spooning, will try that. The other issue I have is I find my pelvic bone at the front feels on fire after about 2/3 mins and I can't continue. Any ideas?

We tried spooning (DH couldnt get 'rhythm/ momentum necessary for him!!!) doggy with knees/ legs together was fine but movement started to make hips hurt before things could get going. So disappointed as last two pregnancies DH couldn't get his head round the whole 'baby inside' idea and we didn't dtd once!

Sorry iv only just come back to this, had an awful couple of days. DH ended up having emergency surgery so sex is now completely off the table anyway!!

Longfufu - around 9 1/2 - 10 inches Blush
