Superdrug HPTs

Wanted to get an early detection test so picked up Superdrug ones as was told they are 10 thingy/sensitivity. Anyway, on opening them it says accurate from 15 dpo. That would be the day my AF is due though at its longest cycle.

I have no idea when I ovulated but AF is due either Monday or Thursday. I am cd 23. When would be a good time to use them or does anyone have good experience of them before AF is due despite not necessarily being 15dpo?

Any experience welcome Smile

Hi! To be honest the results will depend on each person's hormone levels rather than the date they are in their cycle.

I recently got a positive 10dpo with a super cheap ebay test, which is quite early. With my last pregnancy I didn't get a positive until 13dpo. This time round the tiredness and morning sickness has kicked in a lot earlier so that's also an indication that I have quite high hormone levels.

Sorry, don't know if that's of any help but from what people say those Superdrug tests are very sensitive. I suppose you could test now but maybe continue testing every day or every second day.

I think I might have been 12 dpo when I used my first superdrug test but not sure. I didn't get a clear bfp with that one, in factI thought it was a bfn and went on to have wine that night. Then in the morning I checked it again and there was the tiniest line.

I then used the other one in the pack and a faint line appeared within an hour!

Got a clear blue digital the next morning and got my bfp.

All the while nothing was showing on the internet cheapies.

I definitely recommend them, but as you can see - I didn't throw them away after the ten minutes the box states!

It might still be too early, so you would be wise to wait as long as you can - And don't forget to do it first thing in the morning. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

I heard the superdrug ones were great but for me this time the clearblue digital was the first to tell me... And based on dates that was about 20 dpo.
I did the superdrug one and a few others from 12 dpo almost daily and they all came up negative.

Thankyou! Stupidly couldn't resist so poas anyway ..as expected bfn.
Think I shall try to hold out til Monday morning Smile
Keep squinting at it and not sure if I see the teeniest of shadows so I guess time will tell.

I am guessing I would be about 9 or 10dpo so hoping its too early. Having waves of nausea a.d bizarre my eldest DD asked me yesterday if I was pg as I was moving furniture around! This is one of the reasons I got the tests Hmm
