Aches and Pains

Hi I am 9 weeks and 3 days pregnant. I have had a rather easy pregnancy so far in that I have had no morning sickness at all! Smile Just tiredness, sore breasts & bloating mostly.
I have noticed in the last couple of days though I have had more twinges and aches around my uterus than before? Just can't help but be a little worried as its different now. Also when I laugh or cough I get an awful pain there too which is quite sharp but then goes seconds later when I stop laughing or coughing. What could that be?

Hi Charlotte, I'm nearly 17 weeks & experienced the same as you over the last few weeks, I just put it down to things stretching but it did scare me at 1st. It started up again yesterday just after i'd seen my midwife...typical. I had funny stabbing/tingly pains today where the weird pain was yesterday, its right where the midwife listened to the heartbeat, she said she could hear the baby kicking but i couldn't feel it, so not sure if its the baby kicking but it was quite uncomfortable. Hopefully someone will come along and give you some reassurance.

I am 16 weeks and have had the same, feels like bad period pains/cramps at times. People call it stretching pains I think. Nothing to worry about in itself x

It's just stretching pains. The sharp pains when you cough/laugh/sneeze are just where your muscles are more easily pulled due to the hormone relaxin.

I didn't mean to sound so harsh, sorry! I mean its all normal, try not to worry and congratulations!

Im exactly the same-9w3d - sneezed this morning and actually cried out it was so sore! It felt like i trapped something in between my pelvis, but after a few seconds the pain had gone, just the same as the other week
Good luck OP

Thanks everyone that has really calmed me down Smile glad its not anything unusual or to be worried about! Can't wait for my scan and that should help me relax a lot more too.
