"Bruised" bump inside - anyone else?

Am 40 weeks on Mon, so I really don't think there is much that can do about this but thought I'd ask if others have found a way of easing the pain....

I have what can only be described as a bruised patch on the left-hand side (inside) of my bump. I guess it is kicking related. The painful area has moved down as she has dropped a bit.

It is particulary painful when I sneeze or lie down.

I did mention to midwife on Thurs and she said it is normal.

Anyone else had this and managed to ease the pain?

I think the only real solution is baby exiting. And hopefully that won't be too far away

I am also 40 weeks on mon and having exactly the same. mostly right down in my pelvis though and is horrendous when I try to stand up or walk around. Hopefully our babies will be here soon and it will all be worth it!!
