First booking appointment

I have my booking in appointment in 10days time and I have a practical question. What do I take my first wee sample in??!!!!!!

At my surgery the receptionist gives you the pot when you book in with reception and you go and do it then before you see the midwife. If you can't wee on demand (unlikely when pregnant ) you could pop in and ask for a sample pot in advance.

I had my booking in appointment on Tuesday. She gave me the pot and I toddled off half way through the appointment. I couldn't perform! A definite first as I'd been able to go any time when pregnant with DD. It took ages, but I'm sure you won't have the same problem!

It'll be typical, When I went to the gp to 'announce my big news'!! i was expecting to have to pee in bed jar so didnt go before but after waiting 20mins for app, my gp didnt make me go!!!!!!!!!!

Im 9 weeks 4 days preg with first baby Just had my booking appt with midwife & feeling bit deflated.....she was in & out in 10 mins.....dont know why but thought she'd be here longer. All felt a bit rushed xx

oh happy, that doesn't sound like what I've been told, supposed to take about an hour. did she take all your details etc??
