I'm 36+5 with my first baby. Started feeling BH at around 20 weeks but the past day every time u get them it feels like mild period pains across the bottom of my back and my bump. They are still pretty sporadic. Is this normal? Its just that they have never have felt this uncomfortable before.

Hi, I have been exactly the same (37+1) feel very periody and bh have started to hurt. my midwife said they can hurt and even be as painful as labour pains! Mine are not that bad though. I have put it down to having babies close together (ds is 15 months). Also mine have started to go into my back and feel like a pressure, think its because the baby has dropped.

Ahhh, so pleased someone else has posted. 35 weeks here and bump has been tight almost continuously today with little respite.

Owwwweeeeee

Must not allow myself to think it means baby is coming early!

Ah pleased to see I'm not the only one experiencing this. Almost 35 weeks and the BH are getting more painful.
