im almost at 29 weeks and have had a bump the size of a huge watermelon since about 16 weeks
all of a sudden the baby has moved from lying transverse to head down, and my bump is half the size it was 2 days ago! it feels much lower too and i can get up off the settee without making the mandatory grunting noise Grin long may it last!

i have a hospital appt on monday so hopefully scan will confirm and baby will stay head down.
its amazing the difference its made. and finally people are saying i look very trim for 29 weeks, instead of the hippopotamus i was a few fays ago Smile

Haha serves me right for speed reading, I got "can't feel a head anywhere...hopefully scan will confirm" and was like Hmm, then I decided I should read a bit more carefully (((headdesk)))

Haha glad there is a head Grin

Right Im googling change position exercises when I get home tonight - I want this small neat bump - just as well I don't have any other plans on a Friday night these days ConfusedSmile

Sounds good! I am 27 weeks and I'm sure my bump is smaller than it was at 16 weeks. Mind you then it was all flabby and wobbly whereas now it is all hard and full of baby! My mum asked me if I was eating properly - I think the flab has just redistributed itself.

The same happened to me at 33 weeks. Transverse round to head down and he's stayed there since. Due Monday. No one believes me when they ask lol, even though I think my bump is plenty big enough thank you! But in some ways it is harder too as the baby is a regular size but contained more within my body, so the ribs and pelvis are taking a beating. Measuring spot on for dates though, hoping for a lovely weekend surprise Smile
