Anyone selling a CB fertility monitor? Do you recommend it?

Amazon had them very cheaply a few weeks ago. Have you tried regular opk's first though? Far cheaper and tell you the same info!

I had one and it was great...bought it from ebay for £30. The only difference (except for price) I could tell between it and OPKs, was that it took less thinking effort (but only slightly less) and warns you of the couple of days before ovulation so you can DTD then too.

IMO only worth the price if you don't have time to regularly DTD all month, so need to pin down the crucial 4-5 days.

I loved the clear blue fertility monitor and it worked fairly quickly. My cycle was very irregular for a while after a MC so found the machine really useful to chart the cycle and which days within my fertile week I was at my peak fertility (turned out within my fertile period i only had 2 peak days!) Highly rate it but I've not tried other opks as a friend lent me her machine and I just bought the sticks to go with it (which were expensive!).

I've been using the CB monitor for 2 months and have never had a peak. Pretty sure I'm ovulating as cycle is very regular....

The monitor will only ever give you 2 peak days, the one where it first registers and the one straight after...

Next month I'm going to use regular opks... I'd save your money!

I didn't rate it. It never once indicated my peak fertility days in the 3 cycles that I used it for and I had fairly regular periods. It would show the same pattern of low then high then low for the entire month with no peak days and cost a fortune in sticks as it was using 20 per cycle. Don't think I'd bother with it again if I was considering TTC again (which I'm not)

I'd recommend it. Got pregnant first time I used it, then lent it to my sil who did the same!
