Hi I have a really upset tummy. It has stopped now. Been like this for a few days but drinking plenty.. went to pharmacist and they said most products aren't suitable and just gave me rehydration sachets. Anyway.. I could cope with it, if it wasn't for the fact that it feel like acid .. any tips appreciated.

Shouldn't be anything to worry about at that stage, but just keep well hydrated and eat bland foods if you can stomach anything. Unfortunately things like Imodium aren't suitable while pregnant, it really is just a case of letting nature take its course!

Thanks rockchick.. trying to keep food bland. I was thinking the same.. better not risk Imodium. Pharmacist said if it gets too bad I can but I don't think I will.

I totally sympathise with you mrspaddy. I am 12 weeks on Sat and have had some sort of D&V bug since Monday, that just won't shift, feel really awful and down in the dumps too. I was able to bring my scan forward to today (11/4) and they reckon baby is ok, which is great news as it was my first scab, but the stomach cramps have got me doubled over in 2 and I can't help but think that must be affecting the baby in some way :(
How regularly have you been taking the rehydration sachets, are they helping at all?

scan

Hi, I'm 24 weeks and have had poorly tummy all week. My doctor advised only lucazade or coke (flat) and ginger biscuits and no dairy at all.
Like you it was the bad cramps that was the worst and seemed to be on the left side. I'm glad to say its day 5 now and more or less gone. Good thing is that it doesn't harm baby. Downside, feeling sick and baby dancing around in tummy Confused

yea rehydration sachets are good. At least fluid levels will be good. Oh I didn't know about dairy.. I have been having a good bit. Might try cutting that out tomorrow.

Baby dancing around here too. I keep googling little newborn things to keep the spirits up!

Yes I recommend cutting it out
Only food I kept down was spaghetti hoops and toast
