I'm 16 weeks with my first baby and suffering from early onset pgp Sad

Had a really bad night with it last night as I fell asleep on my right side and woke up because it was really painful and then couldn't get comfy Sad I ended up wedging some duvet between my knees which did help a bit so will find a spare pillow tonight.

I'm seeing mw tomorrow and physio Tuesday so will hopefully get help but I'm still aching now and have a mega busy day at work (teacher) and I'm so exhausted Sad

On the bright side though I'll hear baby's hb tomorrow and I'm sure I can feel little flutters sometimes Smile

PP definitely sleep with a pillow between your knees! Lie exactly ion your side and keep one leg stacked over the other.

Don't lie in the recovery position!

Some good do's and don'ts

Also if you have a spare duvet - you can put that under the sheet on your side of the bed - eases pressure on the hip. I'm not too bad this pregnancy - but last time I found to turn over in bed It was actually easier to sit up and get back in (IYSWIM?).

try get referred to physio through your midwife (go private with physio/osteo/chiro if you can afford it)
