Ear-piercing: okay when pregnant?

Is it okay to get your ears pierced when pregnant?

Erm - yes!

I don't think it's considered advisable because of the risk of infection. Also, I would think it might be a bad idea because your body does all sorts of funny things when you are pregnant and your ears might react badly to having the holes done. When I was pregnant I got all sort of weird skin growths and moles.

I wouldn't either - I waited until afterwards.

hi scampadoodle, just to let you know that i had my ear pierced during pregnanacy and have been absolutely fine. but then again every1 is affected in different ways.
So i'm not sure what advise to giv you. You know about yourself more than any1.

I don't think it would be a problem TBH.
