Have been to the toilet 3 times in the last 4 hours. Not in a rushing to get there way just a natural need. Feeling nauseous, tired and washed out, but I did have a busy day yesterday. Over the last few weeks Ive had the usual increase of pressure in my pelvis, shooting pains in my cervix, increased and change in (TMI) discharge. I just class these as standard for this time in pregnancy as body is obviously going to be changing and getting ready.

I have plans to see a friend for her birthday lunch today which involves a 30mile drive (meeting half way). I want to go but am a bit unsure. I will be very nearer dh's work there than at home. If it was in the opposite direction I think I'd be calling it off.

Am I silly to go? I don't want to put my life on hold waiting for something to happen that could still be weeks away.

If you're not feeling right, I would avoid driving. Even if you don't go into labour, it sounds like you need a rest.

I went and felt ok. Drive was a little too far if I'm honest. I've been getting back ache on and off (not like contraction on and off but pulsating spasms with a constant ache) since I came home and baby is pushing and wriggling a lot.

I now need to clean and tidy. This is getting very weird! I wish I wasn't symptom watching.
