Hi, I am 20 weeks pregnant with my 3rd. This morning I woke to find some brown blood on the tissue when I wiped after the loo.
I went into the day care assessment this am to check it out.
Dr said to wait until my scan (on wednesday) and to get them to check cervix length. No polyps and cervix was closed she said at the moment.
She told me to go back if I had more and to rest and not do too much housework! :)

Anyway, I found a slight amount tonight again on pad and vague period type pains. (could this be because of the examination though?) They are very mild atm. I'm not even sure if I am imagining it even.

Anyway, just wondered if anyone else had been through this and what happened?

I've had it on and off, but got worse for 4-5 weeks from the day before my 20w scan. They did a speculum examination and I have a cervical ectropion. It's only just stopped being every day and I'm 27w tomorrow.

I had this on and off from 14-20 weeks. I'm now 32 weeks. Unexplained bleeding is very common said my consultant (I was seeing him for something else). Easy to say but try not to worry. Most likely everything will be fine.

Forgot to say that I too thought I was imagining vague pains but I think it was stress. Like lunatic fringe says though - do go in straight away if they get more definite.
