Hi

I'm 36 weeks and have had excruciating lower back pain all day. It hurts to sit and stand and walking is unbearable. I've tried paracetamol and some back stretches but to no avail. Does anyone have any tips?

Thanks

Have you tried getting on all fours? Baby could be pushing against your spine?

Hot water bottle might help?

Thanks all. Really hope it's not labour! We're on holiday - in the UK but away from home and there's no one to look after DS

I've tried all fours and a bath. The latter was lovely while I was in it but now I'm out I'm back to square one. Will try paracetamol again

Those warm rice bags worked wanders for me when pregnant with DS2. Acupuncture was great too but I doubt you can get that on a holiday resort Smile

If you are without a heat pack you could try one of the self heating ones from the supermarket or pharmacy, they last or hours....

Or it could be labour!
