Hi levery1, I'm 38+2 3rd baby had appointment with midwife today n bump is mesuring at 35weeks so I've been booked for growth scan in 2days, had to go l/d for monitering today as was unsure if was leaking fluids( turns out just normal discharge) now I'm worried something will b wrong in growth scan can't get out of head! Just can't imagine having this baby I thought it was because I have 2 girls n this is a boy but now I'm worried its a "intuition type thing" I'm going out offend even tho he's still active and was fine on monitering today I just want him out now to know he's safe...

Oh poor you, it's horrible constantly worrying like that! Know it must be hard but if you can feel that baby is active and if they were ok on the monitor then chances are it's all fine!

Your measurement might also be wrong. I'm in hosp at moment at 33+6 and got measured yesterday as only 30 by a midwife in here but my community midwife at home had measured me 32 at my 32 wk appointment.....hosp midwife said that midwives sometimes measure differently. Maybe yours did too.

As long as baby is active with movement and healthy heartbeat which sounds like they have from the monitoring that you mentioned, then I'm sure it'll be fine and that the scan will reassure you of this. Try not to drive yourself too mad with worry x

Hey, I had a couple of growth scans during my pregnancy. At 40+11 I was measuring 37 weeks, but I had a healthy 7lb 7oz baby.

It is stressful but I'd try to focus on the fact your baby is still active and everything else has been okay.

I agree with the measuring thing, different midwives measure you differently.
