Braxton Hicks - should I phone?

I'm 36 +6 with my second pregnancy. DS1 is 9 so a big gap!

I've been having strong braxton hicks over the past few days. Some are slightly painful and they have been quite regular for an hour or so then I have a break and they come back.

I don't think they are labour pains as they are not getting stronger...

Should I phone L&D??

Maybe not delivery if you don't think it's labour, perhaps give your midwife a ring an see what she thinks first? X

I haven't seen my community midwife in weeks, I have gestational diabetes so I go to the hospital every week for monitoring. My CM said there was no point in me seeing her! I disagree but never mind.

Would feel a bit weird phoning her but agree its a better idea than phoning LD.

Oh, we'll that is strange but I suppose

Sorry....stupid phone....I suppose if you see someone every week maybe they are the ones to call? Or maternity assessment if your hospital has one? Hope all is well anyway x

Thanks Tinky I phoned my CM and left a message. I'm still waiting for her to call back!
