I am 25+3 and am convinced I am having a girl. No evidence, we asked not to be told at the 20 week scan but it just feels like a girl! I can't imagine it coming out a boy now but of course it might :)

Did anyone else have such strong feelings and were you right??

I had a feeling I was having a boy with ds which I was. I kinda have a feeling it may be a girl this time but am trying to think of the baby as a oy just in case I'm wrong.

MrsMargoLeadbetter · 10/06/2013 16:45

I thought it was a girl due to feeling so sick. Had no sickness with DS. 20 wk scan says it is a girl....will hopefully have it confirmed soon as 39.

beckie90 · 10/06/2013 16:46

Knew my first 2 was boys they was, was posative this ones a girl, its a boy xx

RJM17 · 10/06/2013 16:46

Well I just got back and I was right... It's a girl x

MirandaWest · 10/06/2013 16:47

I was very sure with both DS and DD.

Was also wrong with both of them Grin

BraveLilBear · 10/06/2013 16:48

I'm with you afrikat feel quite strongly it's a girl to the extent that I've been having minor panics about it being a boy and how I would feel. It's strange cos I always imagined myself having boys (was a tomboy growing up) but as soon as I knew I was pregnant I had a feeling it was a girl. The only name we have agreed on would be a girl's name (despite being quite unisex), and it feels so perfect as a girl energy.

I keep trying to imagine bump as a he just in case, and some days it works better than others!

Am now 34 weeks, so not long to find out. DP thinks 'boy', so one of us will be right!

Wow that's cool RJM how exciting!

FoofFighter · 10/06/2013 16:53

I just "knew" with DC1 and DC2 and I was right - this one cooking right now, not a scooby!! finding it strange to not have that instinct this time round Confused

peeriebear · 10/06/2013 16:54

Yes, I knew DS was a boy from early on. The pregnancy felt completely different from my previous two, both DDs. If he'd come out a girl I'd have eaten my hat!

AWhistlingWoman · 10/06/2013 16:58

Was sure that DT girls were a boy.

Was sure that DS was a girl.

Mother's intuition eh? Hmm

MonkeysTypewriter · 10/06/2013 16:59

I was certain DS1 was a girl. I was certain DS2 was a girl.

AWhistlingWoman · 10/06/2013 16:59

Oh and very sure current bump is a boy. So I guess that makes 'him' DD3!

TeWiSavesTheDay · 10/06/2013 17:01

I have no intuition!

Was totally wrong with both the first two (DD and DS) so was completely unable to convince myself either way with number 3!

We found out at the scan that it's DD2.Smile

Floggingmolly · 10/06/2013 17:10

I was convinced I knew with all three of mine; and I was wrong every single time.

superbadspeller · 10/06/2013 17:16

Knew with all 3 but with the first i was hoping i was wrong Blush i get classic 'old wives tale' bumps - round and low with the girls, high and out with my boy. Not true for everyone but helpful for me Grin

RNJ3007 · 10/06/2013 17:21

I was so sure DD was a boy. This time, identically awful pregnancy, so I was convinced it was another girl... 5 scans later, 99.9% sure that v2.0 is a DS!!!

Clearly, I am rubbish!

afrikat · 10/06/2013 20:48

Yeah Team Pink RJM - congratulations :)

I kind of wish we had done the gender scan now as it is driving me a bit mad being so sure but obviously I can't be sure at all! Patience has never been one of my virtues...

I was convinced DD was a boy..but as I secretly wanted a girl I was pleased to be wrong.

DramaAlpaca · 10/06/2013 20:55

I was wrong every time and I have three Smile

Newmum0113 · 10/06/2013 21:21

wallison I was exactly the same. I had a feeling I was having a boy but its my first PG so nothing to go by. As I found out yesterday, my instincts were wrong! We are having a girl. I was worried I would be disappointed but I'm over the moon that so far everything is ok.

VerySmallSqueak · 10/06/2013 21:27

I was right when I had a strong feeling that DD1 would be a girl.

Yes. Knew with DD and am sure that I am expecting another girl.

blueshoes · 10/06/2013 22:06

No strong feelings but my second pregnancy was different in that I craved red meat. It was a boy!
