Could I be Pregnant?

I am on the POP, and havent had a period since December 2012. I went on the pill for my periods, at this point I wasn't sexually active. In January a friend of mine and myself took things to the next level and I have been sexually active since January, however, the guy and myself have decided to let things cool down as we are both going to different uni's in September. (I am 18 in the summer and he is 19 in the summer, this is defiantly not part of the plan for either of us!)

In April I took my pill a couple of hours outside the window to be 'covered' and had sex but stupidly thought no more of it!

For the past couple of months I have been having bad mood swings (wanting to cry one moment and then elated the next) as well as tender boobs! I have blamed this on my pill as they are some of the side affects. However, more recently I have been utterly exhausted, despite getting lots of sleep, and some bad headaches. This, of course, could be just stress as I'm in the middle of my A2's.

Am I panicking unnecessarily or is there a chance I could be pregnant?

Why don't you put your mind at rest and take a test?

FriendofDorothy · 09/06/2013 16:41

Have you done a pregnancy test?

ffrg · 09/06/2013 16:42

Yes, it is possible if you were over 3 hours late (12 hours for Cerazette) and have had otherwise unprotected intercourse in the first 48 hours from starting to take them again.

You will need to do a test.

I know how scary it is and that you don't really want to know, but it's best to just get a test and find out either way. If you are, you wont be alone in having an unplanned pregnancy and you will have options. X

Yes it's possible. Even taken perfectly there is a percentage of failures. Take a test.

Take a test.

My guess is you're probably not but I suppose anythings possible!

ok, glad you think the chance is slim!
