I have 2 sweeps this week and I was told at one I was 3cm and the next I was 4cm and waters bulging so I rang labour ward yesturday to talk to a consultant as I'm a vbac 2 and was worried and to see if they would break my waters. When I got there they told me I was only 1cm and my cervix was prosterior when I had been told by two diffrent people very diffrent they sent me home and told me to see my consultant Monday I'm really worried confused and upset can anyone give me a answer as to how this could happen ?? :( thank you

I don't have much advice sorry, just wanted to say that I think you should ask for another opinion, the night I went into the labour ward 1 told me I was 4cm then at another check 7hrs later the other midwife said 2cm I was confused and said but I was 4cm n then she said well I'd say 3cm then. I think some midwifes can be abit over generous and some under. So I'd call for another opinion and say your not happy xx
