Pregnacare?

I'm 10 weeks pregnant and today I saw my MW for the 1st time. She asked if I was taking folic acid, which I am, but had now said that I should start taking pregnacare instead as it has vitamin D in and take it until the baby is born. Is anyone else taking this?

I was told by my doctor at 5 weeks just to take folic acid upto to 12 weeks. I have a reasonably heathy diet.

Unsure of what to do?

I used whatever was on offer! Sanatogen plus oil or Multibionta in pink were my preference and most palatable (better than pregnacare).

Agree about the iron though, I often alternated days between them and basic healthy start (Folic Acid, D, C) to try and help.

Happy healthy 6 month old cooing next to me as we speak

Just a reminder not to use normal multivits - they have too much vitamin A in them for use in pregnancy

I am 11 weeks pg and read last week in a news magazine that low iodine levels are bad for pregnant/bf women and babies (and apparently low iodine is a common problem across the UK), so checked my Pregnacare box and it's got iodine in as well!
